How true! Nothing is more constructive or destructive than our own self ‘the Aham`. If I visualise the world of fitness through this quote, it unveils the fact that our own style of living and eating can play the backbone role in the construction of beautiful life.
If I talk about the destructive nutrition for runners, I will mention artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. Ever experienced gastrointestinal issues or had troubles with “Runner’s Trots?” Artificial sweeteners and sugar alcohols can cause extreme irritation to the gut, even hours after consuming them because the body does a poor job processing them. Beware, as they are found in many popular running fuels like bars, gels and other supplements. . In simple words all the artificial sweeteners remain in the GI tract, unabsorbed and leads to cramping, bloating and diarreha.
